Marshal Eye at the NEC – Fire Safety Event 2024

We had a fantastic time exhibiting at the NEC at the annual Fire Safety Event. Arriving early the day before gave us the perfect opportunity to set up our stand and make sure everything was in place. With our phones were fully charged and ready to go, to ensure we were able to demonstrate Marshal Eye live – including real-time incident simulations that helped bring our solution to life for visitors.

Over the course of three packed days, we spoke to a wide range of professionals from across the industry. These included fire and rescue personnel, risk assessors, and health and safety managers from a number of blue-chip organisations. The interest and engagement were brilliant – with many people telling us how valuable it was to see the platform in action and explore how it could support their own incident response planning.

One of the key discussions we kept returning to was the challenge of pre-assigning emergency roles in a modern working environment. With so many organisations now embracing hybrid and flexible working models, the traditional approach of fixed role assignment just doesn’t work anymore. The availability of a final response team can’t be guaranteed if people aren’t physically present – and that’s where a digital, opt-in model like Marshal Eye really shines.

Our visit to the NEC gave us a powerful opportunity not just to showcase the system, but also to share our belief that smarter, more agile incident response tools are no longer optional – they’re essential.
