Marshal Eye Featured in Daedalus Magazine

We’re pleased to share that Marshal Eye has once again attracted the attention of the fire safety community—this time featured in the Autumn 2024 edition of Daedalus, the official publication of the Institute of Fire Safety Managers.

This article follows our earlier coverage in Fire & Security Matters and further illustrates how Marshal Eye is being recognised as a practical and timely solution to longstanding challenges around emergency response and false alarms.

The Daedalus feature focuses on how organisations are rethinking their fire response strategies in an age of hybrid working and evolving building occupancy. It highlights the growing difficulty of ensuring the right people are in the right place at the right time during an emergency—and how Marshal Eye turns that problem on its head.

By enabling team members to claim tasks in real time and receive context-specific instructions—whether for operating a fire panel or assisting a vulnerable person—Marshal Eye transforms static fire roles into a dynamic, live system. This approach reduces planning burden, increases confidence, and delivers genuine accountability.

The article also shines a light on some of the App’s lesser-known but powerful features: intelligent resilience alerts, drill functionality without triggering the alarm, and instant post-incident reporting with to-the-second accuracy. Importantly, it acknowledges the wider applicability of the platform to other critical incidents—from medical emergencies to lockdowns.

We’re proud to see our work featured in a publication respected by professionals across the sector. It marks another step forward in our mission to help organisations modernise their emergency response, reduce disruption, and ultimately keep people safer.
