Marshal Eye goes live at the Lakeside Shopping Centre

We recently spent the morning at Lakeside Village Outlet in Doncaster to help their team set up Marshal Eye across their site. With around 2 million visitors a year, it’s essential that incident response is managed smoothly, discreetly, and effectively.

Our visit focused on:

  • Ensuring the site was correctly configured within the app

  • Advising on the most effective way to set up different incident types

  • Identifying which scenarios should be raised as critical alerts

  • Providing feedback on how to structure sub-tasks so that nothing is missed during a live event

This practical support ensures the system is not only installed but optimised for real-world use, giving staff confidence that they can respond quickly and consistently to any situation.

Preparing for Martyn’s Law

With the Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025 now in its 24-month implementation window, venues open to the public and places of education are under growing pressure to strengthen their incident response capabilities. Marshal Eye provides a simple, effective way to meet this challenge without the cost and disruption of installing site-wide hardware.

Why Marshal Eye?

It’s fantastic to see Lakeside adopting a solution that is:

✔️ Critical alerts for immediate response

✔️ Real-time group chat for discreet coordination

✔️ Digital role/task claiming – removing the headache of pre-assigned roles in flexible working environments

✔️ Automated performance reports after each event – essential for evaluation, investigation, and audits

From Idea to Adoption

What started 2.5 years ago as a fire evacuation app has evolved into a comprehensive incident response platform. From day one, my goal was simple: to make sure that when it matters most, nothing is forgotten.

Seeing organisations like Lakeside now trialling and adopting Marshal Eye is incredibly rewarding, and it marks an exciting stage in our journey as more venues look for modern, practical ways to keep people safe.
