Following client feedback we have added three powerful new features to Marshal Eye.
1. Offsite Notifications
We recognise that managers and key staff may need to know what’s happening even when away from the workplace. With this update, if an incident begins, you can choose to receive a standard notification, you can then toggle into the building. From there, you can monitor live updates, see who is responding, and follow the group chat in real time. You can even join the conversation to offer support from anywhere in the world. If you have a number of buildings, the alert will tell you which building the incident is happening in.
2. Post-Incident Feedback Reports
The existing performance report already provides a detailed, time-stamped record of what happened during an incident, it shows who did what, when, and including the entire chat log. While this remains invaluable, we saw the need for staff to share their own experiences of how things went.
We’ve therefore added a new feedback function within the Incident History tile. Staff can now answer four simple questions:
-
What went well?
-
What didn’t go well?
-
What could be done differently next time?
-
Any observations?
Administrators have an updated incident page view where all feedback is automatically compiled into a clear, ready-to-use report this saves Health & Safety managers the time and effort of gathering and collating experiences manually.
3. Voiced Critical Alerts
In a major update, we’ve introduced voiced alerts alongside the existing tonal sounds. Administrators can now choose from a library of clear, professionally recorded voice prompts and attach them to specific incident types.
For example, if “Lockdown” is triggered, the critical alert on staff phones will sound a tonal attention sequence, followed by a spoken directive such as “Lockdown, Lockdown” or “First aid required”. This provides immediate clarity on the nature of the emergency, helping staff respond more decisively.
We continue to develop the app to ensure we never lose the simplicity, it is important that it is easy to interact with and that’s been our goal since the start. We carefully think about the user experience and engineer things back from that.
